MUSEUM ACTIVITIES FOR BABIES

Many museums have stroller tours or toddler programs.

Look for a family gallery with hands-on activities.

Ask visitor's service for children's books or gallery resources for the exhibits.

SELF-GUIDED ACTIVITIES FOR BABIES

Describe the artwork to baby.

Make the sounds you might hear if you were inside the painting.

Give baby a toy camera to "snap" pictures of the art.

BEST WAY TO GET AROUND

Some galleries might not allow strollers or backpack carriers.

Front-facing carriers are the best way for baby to view art safely.

WHAT IF BABY HAS A MELTDOWN IN THE MUSEUM?

Find a dark, quiet side gallery to calm baby.

Head to the cafe for a snack.

Explore any outside sculpture gardens the museum may have.
