Lack of sleep has got to be one of the hardest parts of having a newborn. Sleep deprivation can be brutal and lead to maternal (and paternal) stress and anxiety. When I started thinking about What I Needed for a Second Baby I forgot to consider that our second baby might have different needs and preferences than our first.
